GDPR - what does this mysterious abbreviation mean?

 

As of 25/05/2018 the European General Data Protection Regulation has become applicable in all member states (abbreviated as GDPR pl. RODO). In relation to changes in the personal data protection system resulting from the entry into force of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), OJ L 119/1 of 04/05/2016 [GDPR], we would like to communicate some information to you.

  

Who is your personal data controller?

 

1. Your personal data controller is Partnerzy Nieruchomości sp. z o.o. with registered office in Gdańsk (80-229) at al. Grunwaldzka 28/3 (contact address for personal data: rodo@partnerzy.pl).

2. If you voluntarily consent to your personal data processing, the data will only be processed for the purposes you have given your consent for. For what purposes do we process the data?

 

- submission of an offer of real estate agency services by the personal data controller - no longer than until your consent withdrawal,

- submission of an offer of credit advisory services by the personal data controller - no longer than until your consent withdrawal,

- performance and settlement of the agreement concluded with the personal data controller - no longer than until the statute of limitations of claims that may arise from the agreement,

- marketing - no longer than until you withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data for marketing purposes.

 

3. The legal basis for your personal data processing is:

 

- Article 6(1)(a) GDPR - where consent is given to the personal data processing,

- Article 6(1)(b) GDPR - where actions are taken at your request before the conclusion of the contract, as well as in connection with the agreement performance,

- Article 6(1)(c) GDPR - in connection with obligation to keep tax records until the tax liability expires and obligations under other generally applicable laws,

- Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR - in connection with the personal data processing for purposes of redress by either party.

  

Your data security is our priority

4. Your personal data may be disclosed, with your consent, to the banks and developer companies we cooperate with.

5. At all times, you have the right to access, rectify, erase or restrict personal data relating to the data subject or the right to object to the processing, as well as the right to data portability. You can exercise these rights at the data controller’s office, in traditional correspondence, via electronic means of communication or by phone.

6. Please be informed that if you expressed your consent to the personal data processing, you may revoke the at any time in writing to the address of the personal data controller or by e-mail to: rodo@partnerzy.pl, and the consent revocation shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out based on the consent before withdrawal thereof.

7. If you believe that your personal data processing by the controller violates the law, you have the right to file a complaint with the President of the Office for the Protection of Personal Data. The complaint is free of charge.
